Sandbagger Shield shows you your golf facts and a Clean Score, and lets you choose what to publish. We work with golf scoring and handicap data — which is public-by-design under the World Handicap System — together with the records you import or claim. You control what appears on your public profile, and we don't sell your data.

Account: your email address and authentication details (handled by our auth provider).

Your golf record: the player record you claim and the scoring history you import — your Handicap Index, posted scores, and the facts derived from them.

Your roster: the players you follow and the invites you send. Your follows are private to you.

Usage: basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

When you import scoring history, your GHIN login is used once, in memory, to authenticate and pull the records, and is then discarded. We never store or log your GHIN password.

Nothing is public unless you turn on a public profile. If you do, your profile shows your facts and your own Clean Score at your shareable link. You can make your profile private at any time.

We don't sell your personal data. We don't publish anything about a player who hasn't opted into a public profile, and we don't draw conclusions about any player — the Clean Score is a statistical screen of posting and results data, not a determination about anyone.
